Pseudo-crushes and quasi-crushes are just not good enough.

First the heart, now the brain?

JosephineCripes, will this thing ever stop bleeding me dry? After I had the new engine swapped in I noticed my mileage took a severe dip towards the suck side of things. I was getting rougly 24-26 and I ended up getting 16-18. Not such a good thing considering gas has been hovering around the $3 average lately. I took it back down to the shop and found that the computer had completely failed and sent the car in to limp mode. What that does is feed it a bunch of gas so it doesn't lean out and explode.

That was another $500 from my pocket, but things seem to be running fairly well now. I gotta pull the MAF tonight and give it a cleaning. I might swap back to the pre modified MAF and do a dyno run just to see where my power is at without the modified chip that was also connected to the brain. I'd hook it back up but I don't think voiding my warranty is worth a single mod right now.
