I'm a PC
And it Rules! I got my new computer in and did a BSEL mod on the CPU to boost it from 2.20ghz up to 2.93ghz and it's all fatly stable with happy goodness. I did have to upgrade the heatsink but that's fine by me. Anyway it's a Dell Precision 390 with a fat 4 gigs of ram. I'll probably be bumping that up to 8 in short order, but all in all I've been pleased.I can see how Vista gets a bad rap though. You do need some horsepower to run it. But with that power I do actually find myself liking it just as much, if not better than XP. A few minor tweaks and it gets rid of the nuisance prompts in Vista and all is good to go. Side bar is decent. I do like it a bit more than the dashboard on the mac as I can keep the "gadgets/widgets" viewable without having to do a terminal hack.
Anyway, all is good on the computer front. Though the next project is XBMC on a Mac Mini, so fingers crossed on getting that up and going.
Stay Tuned Kiddos.
