Deck-o-Rific

So yeah, the deck has taken current priority over the pond. Though just for the moment. The major grunt work of the pond is primarily done. Unfortunately that boils it down to a matter of money. So I've decided to pursue the other part of the back yard improvement which is the deck. I have a few more photos that I'm needing to upload so as soon as I get those up, and have a bit more time I'll connect them up with this little "story."

All right, slight change of plans. I'll definitely be posting photos shortly, but I'm currently going to have to modify the way the joists of the deck are running. I have them perpendicular to the house, but they need to go parallel as I plan on running the deck planks perpendicular as well. Oh well it's a learning process for me. Anyway, pics soon. Promise.
