Crape Get +1

All right, so it was neither a Wichita or a Fantasy, but what is it you say? Basham's Party Pink! Fooooooo real. I went to the local nursery, Round Rock Gardens, to pick up a Crape Myrtle for setting in the middle of my deck. They didn't have the Fantasy or Wichita on hand, but what they did have was this variety called a Basham's Party Pink. They have one growing there at the nursery that is a good 25-30 feet tall and has blooms of a light pink/lavender color. It was quite nice and I figure a tree that's grown that tall just a mile down the road is a pretty good indicator of what it can do in my back yard.
