Paint + eng = Painteng!?

All right, so there's been a long recess since I've last updated. Brother Kan, slapped me around for posting no updates. There's nothing more humiliating than being slapped by a Hippie that can't seem to keep from being deported. I'll keep this one brief, and singular in the subject matter. As you may know from browsing the gallery, I love making vinyl decals. Well I've found a new way to implement this medium. I'm sure the method has been done before, but it just came to me, so at least for my purposes I claim it as my own. For the most part I work with photos I've taken. Process them down to whatever I feel right, and then cut along the outlines to create a nice template to paint by. After I've done so I get a painting that comes out something like what you see above.

I do apologize for the quality of the shot, it was taken with a Cell Phone, and I don't fancy that I'll be able to get another one of that painting. But anyway, stay tuned cause I've certainly become a fan of doing this type of work, and some friends seem interested as well. More will come!
