Pseudo-crushes and quasi-crushes are just not good enough.

Roxanne

It's just what I do, you know, on my weekends and such.

Anyway, so I highly suspected the transmission fluid hadn't been changed on Roxanne in who knows how long, maybe ever? I made a bit of a mess considering the fact that the instructions showed a picture of the upper hose being used for the flush, where as it read the lower hose should be used. I dumped a couple quarts on my drive (Which I'm trying to get clean).

All in all though it went fairly smooth, and after a good many quarts run though the system it finally started coming out red. All in all it probably cost me around $120 to do, but considering the dealer wants $400+ for the same thing I consider it time well spent. Next time I go about it I won't have to buy the hose and fittings again so I'll be good there.

With the fluid changed and the new transmission mount in the shifting is definitely far far smoother. I still wish it were a manual transmission, but beggars can't be choosers. Mileage at change 140740. I'll be changing it again in another 10,000 miles or so, hopefully it isn't as dark then, but it will definitely be all sparkly clean in there.
